As God’s beloved children united in Christ, let us pray for the church, the world, and all who are in need.
Holy God, you use water to bless us, so that we may believe and that we may have life. Thank you for using the living waters of our baptism to cleanse us, to give us new life, and to lead us to eternal life. Lord in your mercy.
Gracious God, you lavish the earth with splendor, and we praise you for the gift of life. Teach us to live as wise stewards through sharing our resources and preserving natural habitats for generations to come. Lord in your mercy.
God of the Nations, we pray for the good people of Minneapolis. Bring justice for the falsely accused or wrongly condemned. We pray for judges and our legal system to act in righteous ways. Lord in your mercy.
God of Healing, we pray for the vulnerable, children, seniors, and any who are sick especially, Gina Wiklund, Dennis Doty, Anita Baraw, Vinny Somo, Marlene Rosh-Heinig, Lillian Rivolté, Kendyl Mcgrath, Cathy Staples, Alex DeJesus, Kathi Bishop-Mora, Eddie Martin, Marcie Baldwin, Marie Lipman, Michael Schultz, Glen Kroetz, Sal, Al Koch, Peter and Joanne Knebel, Jenny Walker, the Hodges family, Ruby and David Alden, the Murray family, Debbie and Charley Kurinsky-Rose, Lisa Poljacik, Stephanie Eichhorn, Rose and Marc, Marlene Forde, Leslie Wisdom, Gloria Redman, the Mofford family, Vassi Makres, Jeannie and Heather, and for anyone we name silently or aloud….Pause. We commend all for whom we pray to God’s loving-kindness made known to us in Christ Jesus our Savior and Lord. Amen.
