On most weekends, we offer four different worship services. You’re welcome to give one of them a try and see if it is a good fit for you.
- Sunday morning at 9:45 am is our most contemporary services. It’s a good place to start if you don’t have a strong church background or if you prefer a more relaxed praise service. The Worship Band leads in some songs, our pastor shares a teaching that connects faith to daily life, and we celebrate Communion each week – God’s meal offering Grace and Forgiveness. We head into our week renewed and refreshed.
*For you convenience the 9:45 service runs concurrently with Family Education Hour for children of all ages. A Nursery is provided as well.
- Sunday morning at 8:30 am is a fairly traditional worship service based on Marty Haugen’s Creation Setting. The music is played on organ and piano and there is a choir that usually presents some special music. People that prefer liturgical worship with a blend of some traditional and newer music usually find this service meets their needs. We celebrate Communion each week – God’s meal offering Grace and Forgiveness.
- Saturday afternoon at 5:30 we offer our most traditional service. It is a classic liturgical service following an Order for Worship from the Lutheran Book of Worship. Music is played on the organ and we sing mostly traditional hymns. On Saturday evening, we celebrate communion on the first Saturday of the month.
Here is a link to the Weekly Announcements
In addition to regular weekend worship opportunities at Christ Church, we offer special opportunities to worship on certain Christian Holidays, in the season of Lent and during Holy Week and at Easter. We participate in a Coral Springs Community Thanksgiving Service and offer some options on Christmas Eve as well. Watch the newsletter, the regular weekend bulletin announcements, and the Special Events section of the website for details regarding special services. Oh, and you can always call us at 954.752.6566.
We have a Worship Band on Sunday morning at the 9:45 and 11:00 services. If you like to sing or if you play an instrument, please consider being a part of the Band. If you want to learn more, talk to one of the band members on Sunday morning after service.
We have a Choir on Sunday morning at the 8:30 Service. If you like to sing, please consider being a part of the Choir. If you want to learn more, talk to one of the choir members on Sunday morning after service.
We do special music at Holiday times and on special occasions. If you’re interested, talk with the pastor or one or the musicians.
What to Expect
We understand it is not easy to come into an unfamiliar place. Please know you are welcome and we’ve tried to outline some stuff you can expect your first time at Christ Church.
We’re located at 10021 West Sample Road. There is a traffic light at the corner of 101st Ave. Our main driveway entrance is just north of the light. There is plenty of parking surround the building and lots of overflow parking on the south side (toward Sample Road). After you park, there are signs that will direct you to a covered Breezeway on the north side of the Worship Center (tallest building with the cross on top). Worship Center Doors are in the Breezeway.
Some people wonder about how to dress. We invite you to be comfortable and dress casually.
You may wonder about Offerings. Our members are expected to support their church through their regular offerings. As a first time worshipper, please feel free to pass the plate by and be our guest. If you decide to make Christ Church your regular place of worship, we’d expect you to help others support the church in line with God’s Teaching. You can give via cash or a check payable to Christ Church. We also have automatic giving options if you are interested.
Each service has an Order of Service printed in a bulletin so you can follow along. On Sunday at 11, the service is also projected on to screens. We’ll let you know when to stand and sit – and you can listen in or participate as you feel comfortable. If you love to sing – please join us in the songs. God tells us to make a Joyful Noise.
There might be a time to greet the people around you. We have a Blue Connection Card where you can share your name and Prayer Requests for our Prayer Team and get connected to church events that might be of interest to you. Please know that you are welcome to the Lord’s Table when we serve Holy Communion.
We encourage families with children to attend our services. If you do feel uncomfortable with your child’s noise level, we do have a Kid’s Room located in the back of the sanctuary. We hope you see the folks at Christ Church to be ordinary, friendly people like yourself. We will accept you as you are and accompany you on the Faith Journey. If you already know lots about the Bible – there is some good teaching for you. But it is presented in such a way that newcomers will find the Teaching connecting God’s Word to real life
Please do not hesitate to email or call if you have any questions, or if there is anything Christ Church can do for you. God’s blessings and we look forward to seeing you in church.

We encourage families with children to attend our services. If you do feel uncomfortable with your child’s noise level, we have a Kid’s Room located in the back of the sanctuary. We hope you see the folks at Christ Church to be ordinary, friendly people like yourself. On Sunday during our 9:45 service, we offer Sunday School for children, Confirmation for 7th & 8th graders, Teen Café for High School Students, and the Adult Café for adults.
We are happy to announce that our nursery is now open to provide care to infants -3 year old on Sunday mornings during the 9:45 and 11:00 a.m. Worship Services. The nursery is staffed by caring, experienced Christ Church preschool teachers. The nursery is located in the Caterpillar Room. Follow the signs through the Fellowship Hall. It is the first classroom on the left as you enter into the Preschool Hallway.
How to Serve in Worship
There are a variety of ways to serve in Worship besides the band or choir. People are needed to serve as ushers and greeters at all services. People also help serve Communion and Readers read the Lessons at 5:30 pm and 8:30 am services. Middle School Students help as acolytes to light the candles and help in other ways. Some folks work behind the scenes on the Altar Care Team preparing Communion and other important worship details. If you’d like to serve, click here and let us know your name, email, what service you usually attend, and how you’d like to serve.
